The Challenge
1104 Health is building shared care for cancer patients. Cheryl, their patient app prototype, was in alpha, and they needed a team to get it to beta and then hand it to engineers of their own.
What We Did
A focused seven-month push, November 2022 to May 2023, with a final punch list and daily standups to close it out. The app ran on AWS across separate development, QA and production tiers.
Built to Hand Off
From the start the goal was for 1104 to own what we built. We documented the stack, recorded deployment walkthroughs for their engineers, and delivered a written tech handoff. Repository, cloud, DNS and sign-in access were all transferred to 1104’s team.
The Results
- 7 months from alpha to beta
- A three-environment AWS platform, documented for the team that would run it
- A clean handoff to 1104’s own engineers
