QuickBooks App Privacy Policy

This policy covers the QuickBooks Online connection that A Bunch of Creators (“ABC”, “we”) runs for its clients (the “App”). Our general Privacy Policy covers this website.

What we read

With your permission, the App reads from your QuickBooks Online company:

  • vendor records for the vendors we reconcile,
  • bills, bill payments and expenses for those vendors (dates, amounts, reference numbers and memos),
  • your company name and company ID, to confirm we are connected to the right company.

We do not read payroll, bank or card credentials, customer payment details or anything outside what reconciliation needs.

How we use it

Only to compare your recorded vendor charges with the vendor’s invoices and payment receipts, and to send you a report of anything that does not match. We do not sell, rent or share the data, use it for advertising, or combine it with other clients’ data.

What we never do

The App is read-only. It does not create, change or delete anything in your QuickBooks Online company.

Storage and security

  • The App runs on cloud servers in the United States (Railway, US West).
  • The connection tokens Intuit issues are kept in access-restricted storage on that server. Our app keys are kept in an encrypted secrets store. Neither is ever emailed, logged or shown on screen.
  • Access is limited to ABC staff working on your engagement, using accounts protected by multi-factor authentication.
  • All traffic to Intuit uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Retention and deletion

We keep only what reconciliation needs: matching results such as dates, amounts and reference numbers, for as long as the engagement lasts. When you disconnect or ask us to, we delete the stored connection details and those results within 30 days. Reports already emailed to you stay with you.

Your choices

You can disconnect at any time in QuickBooks Online or by emailing us, and you can ask what we hold or ask us to delete it.
